About the Artist

Hera Nalam is a Winnipeg based actress/singer-songwriter who unlocked her love and passion for performing when she moved to Canada in 2011 from Cebu City in the Philippines. 10 years in Canada and she has immersed herself in the local creative platforms from music, theatre, film and fashion. She not only has successfully written and released her original music, but also has composed for others including 3 Fringe productions in 2019 (The Last Garden, Cob Bob & QUEST). You may have seen her acting in local theatre productions like Timon of Athens (Shakespeare in the Ruins) and Torn Through Time (Manitoba Theatre for Young People). She was last seen on screen from Winnipeg's hit Rom-Com of 2020, I Propose We Never See Each Other Again After Tonight when she debuted on film as the lead actress. You'll catch Hera often on a Wednesday night at Raffy's Cafe singing with her band on her own show called #LateNightJamsWithHera while rocking a chic fit styled by her co-owned fashion collective Kreative Fvckers/Future.
